RELEASE THE PRESSURE

I often get tangled in the idea that my art has to be perfect planned. I let myself be held back by the limitations I put on myself. I don’t create unless I have a project concept, a vision board, multiple locations, and at least a few days to ponder it.

There is such power and beauty in remembering that I can pick up my camera, move my couch over a little, and shoot something I love. Doubting my creativity and seeking preplanned perfection only holds me back.

So this is your (and my) reminder to create art that is spontaneous and gather inspiration from everything and everyone you encounter.

trust in the process, but trust that it doesn’t always have to be a long one. you can create at any moment.

so release the pressure a little, my friend. and just create something beautiful.
